More space for KT3
Builders in New Malden
New Malden's streets of 1930s semis and terraces are some of the most convertible houses in South West London — decent roof pitches for loft conversions, long gardens for rear extensions, and a layout that opens up beautifully once you knock the back rooms together.
The extension below, finished in white render with anthracite bifolds and a slate patio, shows what that looks like done properly: the whole back of the house given over to one bright kitchen-living space, with brass-pendant lighting over the island and skylights overhead. We also fitted the wood-panelled bathroom further down — one of Glen's favourite rooms we've ever handed over.
From the A3 it's one junction to reach the whole of KT3, so we've built all over New Malden — extensions, lofts and refurbishments for families who need more room but don't want to leave the schools, the high street or the neighbours they know.
Most KT3 projects grow as they go — a loft becomes a loft with an ensuite, an extension picks up a utility room, the hallway gets replastered while the scaffold is up. Because every trade is ours, saying yes to those additions is easy, and the price for each is agreed before the work starts.
